Foridum announced on the 12th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Vietnamese IT corporation Sotatek Global regarding personnel exchange and technological collaboration. Foridum operates an information platform called 'Bijob' aimed at foreign students residing in Korea.
The two corporations signed an agreement at the 'Korea-Vietnam Business Forum' hosted by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, held at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul, to collaborate on generating tangible results in the fields of digital transformation and IT technology cooperation.
Foridum and Sotatek Global agreed to cooperate in areas including ▲support for domestic corporate networking and technology service linkage ▲global talent supply and IT personnel matching collaboration ▲building an IT collaboration ecosystem between Korea and Vietnam, and joint business development.
Through this agreement, Sotatek Global expects to secure a stable domestic sales base by securing more than 10 technology development projects annually based on Foridum's domestic corporate network. Additionally, they plan to strengthen a company-customized personnel supply system by expanding global talent matching solutions utilizing Vietnamese students and local developers.
Foridum forecasts that, based on the technological collaboration with Sotatek Global, it will enhance the functionality of the Bijob platform, improve user experience, and activate the student community, thus increasing service competitiveness.
A Foridum official said, 'In the long term, we aim to build an IT collaboration ecosystem between Korea and Vietnam and develop sustainable joint business models to achieve co-growth in the global market.'
