Agricultural machinery corporation TYM officially launched the 'Honam Plaza,' a regional integrated service hub, on the 7th, aimed at strengthening customer-centric management by establishing a tailored support system for the agricultural field.
The event held the day before was attended by TYM Chief Executive Officer Do-hoon Kim, Domestic Business Headquarters Chief Dong-ik Kim, over 60 employees, Mayor of Naju Byeong-tae Yoon, and about 250 officials from the Agricultural Technology Center.
It is a strategic hub to expand the connection with local farmers in the Honam region, the largest agricultural production area in the country, and enhance service capabilities. It includes a 1,200-pyeong test site, a 400-pyeong assembly factory, and a 70-pyeong office building.
The exhibition hall and parts center also cover 360 pyeong. Plans are to operate it as an integrated hub encompassing products, parts, and services. It aims to strengthen agricultural competitiveness in the Honam region and activate the industrial ecosystem by providing exhibitions of the latest agricultural machinery and practical training.
At the event, new products from overseas agricultural machinery brands scheduled to be released next year were also unveiled. High-performance and high-function products, including transplanting machines that plant rice seedlings at a consistent interval on the paddy field, were included. TYM plans to further strengthen its product portfolio through these new products.
TYM plans to continuously operate agricultural machinery exhibition and demonstration spaces at the Honam Plaza. It intends to utilize the space for customers to directly experience and communicate with products, thereby enhancing customer-centric management.
A TYM official noted, 'The Honam Plaza will be an integrated customer-centric hub combining products, parts, and services, and we will continue to provide services close to the agricultural field.' He added, 'We aim to establish ourselves as a trusted brand for customers based on cutting-edge technology.'
