MINI Korea is accepting pre-orders online at the MINI shop for the special limited edition 'MINI Urban Ace', which reflects Korean design elements, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the MINI brand's entry into the domestic market.
The MINI Urban Ace is a special model planned and produced exclusively for Korean customers in cooperation with the headquarters of the BMW Group. This model, based on the new all-electric MINI Aceman compact SUV, incorporates keywords such as 20th anniversary, the Taegeukgi (Korean flag), and urban in a sophisticated design, expressing the unique sentiment of MINI, which conveys individuality and confidence.
The exterior of the body features the Indigo Sunset Blue color, used for the first time on a MINI Aceman sold in Korea. The multi-tone roof transitions naturally from white to Indigo Sunset Blue, and then to San Marino Blue, harmonizing with the white side mirror caps.
Design elements celebrating the 20th anniversary of the MINI brand's entry into the domestic market are also reflected throughout the body. The hood features a decal representing the geomancy patterns of the Taegeukgi, along with dedicated stripes in red and white, clearly attached to the front of the driver's side to enhance the sophisticated sense.
On the side of the body, a dedicated side decal commemorating the 20th anniversary, combining stripes and the number '20', expresses MINI Korea's journey from the past as it moves toward the future.
A specially designed 20th anniversary wheel cap is mounted on the MINI Urban Ace's dedicated 19-inch two-tone wheels, maximizing the unique appeal of this exclusive model offered only in Korea through features like the tire valve caps with the 'MINI 20' emblem and the Taegeuk-patterned 'MINI 20' emblem located on the top of the D-pillar.
The MINI Urban Ace is equipped with an electric motor that delivers a maximum output of 218 horsepower and a peak torque of 33.7 kg·m, along with a 54.2 kWh high-voltage battery. It takes 7.1 seconds to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h, and the range on a single charge is certified by the Ministry of Environment at 312 km, while under the WLTP standard, it is 405 km.
Additionally, the MINI Operating System 9, a T-map-based Korean MINI navigation system, and features like active cruise control with stop & go capability and lane-keeping assist are included as part of the 'Driving Assistant Plus', along with 'Parking Assistant Plus', which comprises surround view and remote 3D view, and a drive recorder. Furthermore, convenience features like Harman Kardon speakers, head-up display, LED headlights with high-beam assist, and comfort access are also standard.
MINI Korea plans to provide customers who purchase the MINI Urban Ace with a 'MINI 20' badge that can be attached to the front air intake, a 'MINI 20' sticker for inside the vehicle's glass, and edition-specific key caps embossed with the number '20'.
