INNOCEAN announced on the 6th that it will conduct a public interest campaign at the 'Grand Chosun Media' ultra-large electronic billboard in Haeundae, a landmark in Busan, showcasing the 'largest lifeguard in the world' to ensure the safety of summer vacationers.
The Grand Chosun Media, operated by Shinsegae Property, is a curved digital signage measuring 25 meters wide and 31 meters high, installed on the outer wall of the Grand Chosun Busan in front of Haeundae Beach, and has been operating since June. This campaign is overseen by Shinsegae Property, with INNOCEAN responsible for planning and production. An overwhelming-sized marine rescue worker appears on the ultra-large digital signage to deliver real-time safety messages to vacationers at the beach.
The video is characterized by its use of 3D anamorphic technology to realistically and dynamically present the marine rescue worker's safety guidelines linked to real-time weather information, wave heights, and other data for safe water activities.
For example, on days with high wave heights, the video will broadcast the marine rescue worker sending control signals based on situations such as partial or complete control. During normal times, background visuals will enhance realism according to weather changes such as sunny, cloudy, or rainy. At night, footage of the marine rescue worker monitoring CCTV and the emergency situation room screen for marine safety will be shown, emphasizing 24-hour safety.
INNOCEAN and Shinsegae Property expect that this campaign will reduce the occurrence of accidents among Haeundae tourists. An INNOCEAN official noted, "We anticipated that utilizing outdoor advertisements to convey safety messages would have a significant visual immersion and awareness raising effect," adding, "We also tried to instill greater trust by featuring real private marine rescue workers who work in Haeundae as models."
A Shinsegae Property official stated, "Grand Chosun Media will establish itself as a new communication platform with an innovative interactive system based on real-time data, going beyond just a simple advertising medium."
