Dcamp announced on the 4th that it has joined the Korea Venture Capital Association as a special member.
Dcamp plans to strengthen its collaboration with member corporations of the association through this membership and to discover promising startups for concentrated development through Dcamp Batch. This is part of its strategy to expand Dcamp's role across the startup and investment ecosystem.
The two organizations are also discussing global cooperation measures. Dcamp has expanded the global expansion possibilities of domestic startups through collaboration with major corporations in Japan and is continuing its efforts to establish industry-specific entry strategies in the U.S. market.
Based on this global expansion experience, Dcamp is expected to work closely with the global committee under the Korea Venture Capital Association to contribute practically to forming and executing agendas that allow Korean startups and venture capital firms to thrive on the global stage.
Dcamp will also participate as a member corporation in the 'Fourth Industrial Revolution Venture Investment Council' under the association. The Fourth Industrial Revolution Venture Investment Council is a coalition launched under the leadership of the Korea Venture Capital Association, formed to actively respond to the fourth industrial sector at the industry level. The council holds regular meetings once a month to share investment information and insights.
