KGM finalized the 2025 wage negotiation after the agreement was passed with a 64.5% approval rate in a union vote regarding the wage negotiation provisional agreement held on July 31.
Since 2010, KGM has concluded negotiations without a strike for 16 consecutive years, allowing the company to focus all its capabilities on realizing its mid- to long-term development strategy based on a model labor-management culture of co-existence and cooperation.
This provisional agreement contains the commitment and promises of KGM to secure sustainable future growth engines, including strategies for promoting new cars and new business initiatives, as well as plans for strengthening technological capabilities. Based on this trust, the labor and management were able to make concessions and resolve their differences. Above all, there was a shared recognition of the importance of stable labor-management relations.
The 2025 wage negotiation began with the first meeting in June and resulted in a provisional agreement during the 15th negotiation, which was concluded on the 30th. It was finally approved with 64.5% (1,897) of participating union members (2,941) voting in favor.
The main content of this negotiation includes a basic salary increase of 75,000 won, and a total of 3.5 million won, including the Productivity Incentive.
A KGM official noted, "Thanks to the union's significant agreement for increasing sales volume and securing the company's sustainable growth engine, we have achieved a resolution without a strike for 16 consecutive years. Now that we have concluded this year's wage negotiations, all employees will devote their efforts not only to increasing sales volume of the well-received Action HYBE but also to improving customer satisfaction and management efficiency."
