Gaudium Associates, a cultural content company, noted on the 31st that this exhibition, co-hosted with the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, attracted a total of 300,000 visitors during its two-year tour through four cities: Gyeongju, Busan, Jeju, and Seoul.
"From Monet to Andy Warhol" is a large-scale exhibition of masterpieces by greats of Western art history. It showcased 143 pieces from the Johannesburg Art Gallery under the theme "400 years of Western art, as read through masterpieces."
The exhibition began at the Gyeongju Seoul Arts Center in December 2024 and continued to the Busan Cultural Center, Jeju Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts. This exhibition, which toured four national public art museums over 18 months, will conclude on August 31.
