According to the business community on the 21st, Chairman Chey recently visited the OpenAI headquarters in San Francisco, USA, and met with CEO Altman. It is reported that Chairman Chey invited CEO Altman to the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) summit to be held in Gyeongju in October.
It was found that Kwak Noh-jung, CEO of SK hynix, was present at the meeting. They discussed collaboration in the semiconductor field, including HBM (high-bandwidth memory).
Earlier, Chairman Chey and CEO Altman had met in Korea last February. During his visit to Korea, CEO Altman had meetings with prominent figures in the domestic business community, including Chairman Chey.
