The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises announced that it held the first 'KBIZ Cultural Management Forum' of 2025 on the 15th at its headquarters in Yeouido.
The KBIZ Cultural Management Forum is held to share key issues and trends in cultural and management environments, aiming to disseminate management insights and successful cases.
About 250 people attended the lecture that day, including representatives of small and medium enterprises by industry, small business owners, and employees of small and medium enterprises.
At the forum, former Minister of SMEs and Startups Park Young-sun delivered a lecture on the topic 'The birth of the universe, the birth of life, and the birth of AI.'
Former Minister Park emphasized, 'The birth of AI is the third great turning point humanity has encountered,' and pointed out that future industry competition will be a struggle over 'how much superior intelligence is embedded in the same product.' She added, 'Only corporations that establish AI infrastructure will survive in future markets and lead the industry,' highlighting the necessity for small and medium enterprises to develop AI infrastructure strategies.
Former Minister Park is currently serving as a senior advisor at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), an invited professor at Sogang University, and a senior researcher at Harvard University's Kennedy School.
The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises stated that it plans to continue expanding the knowledge sharing and collaboration base to strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises through various forums that integrate culture, technology, and management.
