Volvo Car Korea (CEO Lee Yoon-mo) held a new car launch event on the 2nd at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul, introducing the new XC90 and S90 to the Korean market. Both models feature modern Scandinavian style and cutting-edge technology.
The 7-passenger SUV XC90 and the 5-passenger E-segment sedan S90 represent Volvo's top-tier lineup, reflecting advanced technology and a human-centric philosophy.
The new models have been refined to enhance competitiveness through a new design emphasizing a modern feel suitable for the era of electrification, as well as next-generation infotainment experiences that make it easy to enjoy OTT, social media, webtoons, e-books, and more. The 11.2-inch vertical touchscreen has become a vessel for realizing "digital evolution."
Externally, the new model boasts changes in details such as the new matrix LED headlights, front bumper, fenders, and hood that convey the feeling of a new car. The front grille, which applies for the first time a diagonal mesh insert and graphic pattern along with the new Iron Mark, has diversified into two themes: Bright or Dark.
Although it is not a full redesign, the flagship model has undergone significant changes, and Lee Yoon-mo, CEO of Volvo Car Korea, emphasized the promise of Volvo to create technology that protects people.
