Volvo Car Korea (CEO Lee Yoon-mo) held a new car launch event at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul on the 2nd and introduced the new XC90 and S90 to the Korean market. Both models feature modern Scandinavian style and cutting-edge technology.
The 7-seater SUV XC90 and the 5-seater E-segment sedan S90 are Volvo's top-of-the-line models, reflecting advanced technology and a human-centric philosophy.
The new models have refined their competitiveness with a new design that emphasizes a modern feel suited for the electrification era, focusing on next-generation infotainment experiences that allow for easy enjoyment of various content such as OTT, social media, webtoons, and e-books. The 11.2-inch vertical touch screen has become a vessel in which one can experience "digital evolution."
The exterior features changes in details such as the new matrix LED headlights, front bumper, fenders, and hood, giving a strong sense of newness. The new Iron Mark and the front grille, which applies a diagonal mesh insert and graphic patterns for the first time in the brand, have diversified into two themes: Bright or Dark.
Although it is not a complete makeover, Volvo Car Korea highlighted Volvo's "safety philosophy" once again at the launch stage of the flagship model, which saw significant changes.
