Hanjin announced on the 1st that President Cho Hyun-min and CEO Noh Sam-seok visited the Daejeon Mega Hub terminal to inspect the recently expanded heating and cooling equipment.
The site inspection was conducted to prepare for heat-related illnesses during the hot season and improve the working environment. President Cho examined the overall conditions, including the operational status of the equipment, cooling reach, and maintenance system, and listened to workers on-site about areas for improvement.
Hanjin recently expanded the heating and cooling systems at the Daejeon Mega Hub terminal with an investment of 10 billion won. It is designed to induce concentrated cooling effects in areas where on-site personnel are deployed, making it expandable according to changes in the work environment and outperforming existing systems in terms of performance and effectiveness.
Hanjin expects that the expansion of facilities will reduce worker fatigue and increase concentration and efficiency, and has announced plans to continue ongoing activities to improve the working environment.
A Hanjin official said, "We are making company-wide efforts to create a safe and pleasant working environment centered on workers, and we plan to actively pursue various improvement measures."
