HS HYOSUNG, the official dealer of Mercedes-Benz, held a customer-invited golf tournament, 'Mercedes Trophy 2025,' at Wellington CC in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, on the 2nd, and selected seven amateur golfers to participate in the national final.
The regional qualifiers for Mercedes Trophy 2025 were held for 143 customers who purchased vehicles from HS HYOSUNG. The tournament began with a shotgun start (a format where all holes start simultaneously) and employed the strategic Stableford scoring system to calculate participant scores.
As a result of the tournament, seven amateur golfers qualified to participate in the 'Mercedes Trophy National Final,' to be held in August this year. The Mercedes Trophy is a golf tournament that has been held since 1989 for Mercedes-Benz customers, with over 60,000 participants from more than 60 countries around the world.
At this tournament, HS HYOSUNG provided participants with a one-point putting lesson conducted by professional golfer Park Si-hyun before the match and also organized a signing event with professional golfer Lee Da-yeon, who is currently serving as an ambassador, receiving a great response. Along with this, various hole events were held, and lavish prizes, including the Mercedes-Benz 'E 200 AVANTGARDE' vehicle and luxury beds from Duxiana, enhanced the tournament's prestige.
Additionally, at the Phoenix 6th hole, an event called 'Maybach Gold Nearest' featuring the display of Maybach vehicles and offering gold business cards caught the attention of many visitors, and the secret box event provided a one-year service subscription for the premium lending safe service from 'Bolt1932' to customers who guessed the password, adding a unique enjoyment.
