The entertainment corporation The Pinkfong Company announced on the 17th that it will launch the brand's official font, "Pinkfong Baby Shark Typeface," to celebrate the 10th anniversary of "Baby Shark."
This typeface was designed to express gratitude to viewers worldwide who have loved Baby Shark over the past 10 years. It supports a total of 9 languages (Korean, English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Vietnamese, and Indonesian), making it the first and largest in the domestic content industry.
The typeface design creatively translates the triangle shape inspired by the dorsal fin of Baby Shark and visually expresses the rhythm of the melody "doo doo doo doo," capturing a cheerful and dynamic brand sentiment. Additionally, icon-like special characters symbolizing Pinkfong and Baby Shark characters are provided to enhance friendliness and usability.
The Pinkfong Baby Shark Typeface can be downloaded for free from The Pinkfong Company's official website under the "Company Introduction → Identity" menu and used freely.
A representative of The Pinkfong Company noted, "We designed this typeface so that fans around the world can feel closer to the Baby Shark character world in their daily lives," adding, "We will expand brand experiences through various channels."
Meanwhile, The Pinkfong Company is launching a global campaign titled "Baby Shark: 10 Years of Joy Every Day" to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Pinkfong Baby Shark. Events are being held in major cities around the world, beginning with the release of the 10th anniversary special logo and campaign film, followed by collaborations with SeaWorld in the United States, a special exhibition at the Focus Art Fair in New York, and the Kids Festival in Tokyo, Japan.
In Korea, a hands-on popup was held at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul from April to May, surpassing a cumulative audience of 110,000. A new musical show, "Baby Shark and the Sparkling Best Party," is also set to be unveiled in July.
