Korean Air announced on the 13th that it will launch the '333 Summer Mileage Festa' with special mileage flights on the Gimpo-Jeju route starting in July to coincide with the busy summer vacation season.
This special mileage flight will allow priority ticketing with mileage for specific time slots on the Gimpo-Jeju route from July to September.
From July 4 to 20, August 8 to 24, and September 5 to 21, a total of 54 flights will be operated over three months, each weekend on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The aircraft model used will be the Airbus A330-300 (284 seats), which includes Prestige Class.
To enhance convenience for travelers, the flights will operate on the three days with the highest customer demand, Friday to Sunday.
Flights departing from Gimpo will leave Gimpo Airport at ▲4:15 p.m. on Fridays, ▲4:40 p.m. on Saturdays, and ▲4:20 p.m. on Sundays.
However, in August, flights will depart from Gimpo Airport at ▲4:15 p.m. on Fridays, ▲10:15 a.m. on Saturdays, and ▲4:20 p.m. on Sundays.
Flights departing from Jeju will leave Jeju Airport at ▲2:05 p.m. on Fridays, ▲2:25 p.m. on Saturdays, and ▲6:45 p.m. on Sundays.
Details on the special mileage flight schedule and bookings can be checked through the Korean Air website or mobile app starting June 13.
A representative from Korean Air noted, "This was planned to increase convenience for customers using mileage amid the longer-than-usual heatwave and to broaden their options." They added, "We will continue to seek ways for customers to use their mileage more diversely in the future."
