The Small Enterprise and Market Service announced on the 13th that it has selected five excellent proposals as a result of the evaluation for the '2025 National Innovation Idea Contest.'
This contest was held from March 12 to April 15 to discover effective innovation ideas to improve the quality of public services. A total of 132 ideas were submitted, and the review committee evaluated the proposals based on six criteria, including effectiveness and specificity.
As a result of the final evaluation, one grand prize, two excellence awards, and two encouragement awards were selected. The winners will be presented with the Chairman's certificate and a digital gift certificate as prizes.
The excellent innovation ideas included: ▲ Improvement of personalized step-by-step information accessibility for Small Enterprises 24 (grand prize) ▲ Work efficiency enhancement through collaboration with financial institutions (excellence) ▲ Simplification of civil complaint form guidance (excellence) ▲ Introduction of a platform for sharing reviews by industry (encouragement) ▲ Implementation of ESG and carbon neutrality campaigns (encouragement).
The idea selected for the grand prize, 'Improvement of personalized step-by-step information accessibility for Small Enterprises 24,' is a proposal for enhancing the user interface (UI) to facilitate access to step-by-step information tailored for Small Enterprise startups, operations, and growth. It received evaluations for improving user convenience on the platform.
The selected ideas can be checked on the SEMAS website. SEMAS will work on specifying the excellent proposals in each relevant department and reflect them in actual policies.
Chairman Park Seong-hyo noted, 'The valuable ideas of the citizens are serving as a practical cornerstone for the improvement of public services,' and added, 'We will continue to strive to incorporate various ideas from diverse citizen participation contests into business policies.'
