AIR BUSAN announced on the 12th that it will resume flights on the Busan-Philippines Cebu route starting on the 25th of next month.
This route will operate once daily. It departs Gimhae International Airport at 9:55 p.m. and arrives at the local airport at 1:30 a.m. the next day, with the return flight leaving the local airport at 2:25 a.m. and arriving at Gimhae International Airport at 8 a.m. on the same day. The flight time is approximately 4 hours and 35 minutes, and an A321 aircraft (220 seats) will be used.
AIR BUSAN began operating the Busan-Cebu route in March 2011 but suspended it in March 2023 during a process of restructuring the overall routes. Prior to the suspension, AIR BUSAN's Busan-Cebu route recorded the highest market share among operating airlines, at over 40%, and transported a cumulative total of about 1 million passengers.
An AIR BUSAN official noted, "With this resumption, planning schedules linked to AIR BUSAN's existing Busan-Bohol route will also become possible," adding, "We expect travelers will be able to enjoy a more fulfilling trip."
