On Dec. 2, Small Enterprises and Market Service (SEMAS) announced that it has opened the first "Promising Small Business Permanent Store" in collaboration with NC Department Store's Daejeon Yuseong branch.
The "Promising Small Business Permanent Store" is a dedicated shop for small businesses that sells regionally specialized products, innovative products from promising small businesses, and high-quality products from skilled small manufacturers. It was established to support stable sales channels for small businesses.
The store features a Strong Local Zone that showcases innovative products and goods based on unique regional characteristics and resources, a Global Small Business Zone that sells products from outstanding small manufacturers, and a Century-Old Cooperative Zone that offers products from century-old small businesses and cooperatives. The store will operate until December.
SEMAS plans to expand operations in the second half of the year by linking the Korean Advertising Culture Center in Seoul with the Myeongdong Lycon Shop. Each store will have seasonal theme exhibitions and special promotions, and will regularly update the displayed products based on consumer feedback.
Park Sung-hyo, chairperson of SEMAS, said, "The Promising Small Business Permanent Store will serve as a model for public-private partnership to support stable sales channels for small businesses. We will continue to provide comprehensive support for the sustainable growth of small businesses."
