Iveco Korea will unveil the upgraded Iveco Daily refrigerated/freezer vehicle to meet the needs of the domestic cold chain logistics sector. This Daily model boasts enhanced durability, industry-leading refrigeration/freezing technology, and advanced safety systems, solidifying Iveco's position as a core brand in the small and medium commercial vehicle industry.
Since its debut in Korea in 2018, the Iveco Daily has received customer praise for its outstanding driving performance, passenger car-like comfort, and unparalleled versatility, being utilized for various purposes from campers to ambulances, live fish transport vehicles, and pet funeral vehicles. The latest Daily refrigerated/freezer model meets various business needs with a high-strength chassis and a recognized independent belt type compressor TM21, which is customizable.
The Iveco Daily refrigerated/freezer vehicle is engineered for top-level durability and efficiency, equipped with a robust suspension and a chassis capable of handling high loading capacity. The advanced TM21 refrigeration system is recognized in the industry for its high reliability and ensures consistent cooling performance even during extended operation. Customers can choose either a completed vehicle with a refrigerated/freezer cargo area or a customizable chassis cab. For customization, the cargo area can be selected as standard (5,100x1,900x2,100mm, for box loading) or wide (5,100x2,280x2,100mm, for standard pallet loading).
The Iveco Daily is the only semi-bonnet type commercial vehicle in Korea, offering more effective protection in collisions and a smooth driving experience akin to that of a passenger car. The 3.0-liter F1C diesel engine (maximum output of 180 horsepower, maximum torque of 430Nm) and the 8-speed Hi-Matic automatic transmission provide optimal driving performance and fuel efficiency, even while the refrigeration/freezing system is operating. The cabin's ergonomic design, full LED lighting, and City Mode steering assist (reducing effort by 70%) enhance comfort during urban driving.
For utmost safety, the vehicle is equipped with a broad range of driver assistance features, including an Advanced Emergency Braking System that automatically operates the brakes at low speeds to prevent collisions, Proactive Lane Keeping Assist (PLKA), Queue Assist, and City Brake Pro.
