INNOCEAN announced on the 28th that it won the top Grand Prix at the '2025 Spikes Asia,' the most prestigious advertising festival in the Asia-Pacific region, for the 'Night Fishing' campaign co-planned and produced with Hyundai Motor.
The category in which INNOCEAN won the Grand Prix with the 'Night Fishing' campaign is the TV and cinema film sector. This category awards all advertising campaigns aired on television or in theaters, with key considerations being the creativity, completeness, and impact of the campaign. In addition to the Grand Prix, INNOCEAN also secured a silver award in the branded content innovation sector with the same work.
The 'Night Fishing' campaign features actor Son Suk-ku and the Hyundai Ioniq 5 in a short film that unfolds a mysterious incident and a plot twist against the backdrop of an electric vehicle charging station. This approximately 13-minute 'short-form movie' was produced and became a hot topic as it was screened in theaters for the first time in the country.
The work was recognized as branded content presented in a new format of film, effectively conveying the innovation and technological prowess of the Hyundai brand through its unique filming techniques from the perspective of the vehicle.
It has also garnered attention for harmoniously combining artistic 'film' genres with commercial value, further expanding creative possibilities and being noted as a successful example that presents a new direction in brand communication.
Earlier, INNOCEAN secured five major awards, including a gold medal, at the 'Adfest' held in March. By winning the top award at 'Spikes Asia,' which is also recognized as one of the two major advertising festivals in the Asia-Pacific region, it has once again proven its status as an outstanding creative campaign representing Asia.
Lee Yong-woo, CEO of INNOCEAN, said, 'I am delighted to win the top Grand Prix at the most prestigious advertising festival in the Asia-Pacific region,' and added, 'We will continue to provide solutions tailored to our clients' needs and carry out various and innovative campaigns so that the general public can have the best brand experience.'
