Hyundai Motor Group will collaborate with Korea Railroad Corporation to create smart cities.
On the 21st, Hyundai Motor Group and Korea Railroad Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the Korea Railways smart station area development project team in Yongsan, Seoul, to promote new smart city projects including station area development.
The two companies agreed to jointly plan the necessary elements for building future mobility infrastructure through this agreement and to create an environment optimized for future solutions such as autonomous driving and demand-responsive mobility, as well as an ecosystem for the overall smart city.
Hyundai Motor Group aims to develop mobility solutions that provide seamless mobility and connect people using autonomous driving and robotics.
In the future, Hyundai Motor Group plans to enhance its capabilities across all areas of smart city construction, including planning, demonstration, and development, through collaboration with private and public institutions to realize a future mobility ecosystem.
