Kia announced on the 22nd that it will launch the compact electric truck "The 2025 Bongo Ⅲ EV" which has enhanced product value. It features improvements in battery charging speed and driving range.
The new Bongo Ⅲ EV has reduced the rapid charging time of the battery capacity from 10% to 80% from the previous 47 minutes to 32 minutes. Equipped with a new 60.4 kilowatt hour (kWh) lithium-ion high-voltage battery, the driving range on a single charge is 217 kilometers, which is an increase of 6 kilometers from before.
To address the inconvenience caused by the low battery ground clearance while driving on unpaved roads, the battery ground clearance has been raised by 10 millimeters. Additionally, LED lights have been installed at the top of the charging port to enhance visibility during nighttime charging, thereby increasing user convenience.
The selling prices are ▲Smart Selection 43.25 million won ▲GL 44.5 million won ▲GLS 46.15 million won for each trim. With government and local subsidies applied, the actual price for the Smart Selection trim is expected to be in the mid-20 million won range.
