Tata Daewoo Mobility announced that its new CEO, Kim Tae-sung, took office on the 14th.

Kim was born in 1967 and joined Hyundai Motor in 1993, gaining approximately 30 years of experience in global sales strategy, product marketing, and digital business.

He held positions such as head of Hyundai Motor's global sales support division, head of product in the North American regional headquarters, and team leader of overseas product planning in the overseas sales division, and he also worked at Beijing Hyundai.

Last year, he was responsible for automotive strategic sales as vice president at the Japanese semiconductor corporation Renesas Electronics Korea.

A Tata Daewoo Mobility representative noted, "CEO Kim is the right person to secure new growth drivers for Tata Daewoo based on over 30 years of global field experience and strategic insight," and added, "It is expected that he will enhance the company's future competitiveness through electrification, autonomous driving, expansion of eco-friendly products, and the establishment of data-driven revenue models."
