Mercedes-Benz Korea Co., Ltd. is strengthening its lineup with the launch of the "GLE 350 4MATIC," a new trim of the luxury mid-size SUV, GLE. This is the entry gasoline trim of the GLE.
The GLE 350 4MATIC is a balanced model that maintains the GLE's luxurious exterior design, spacious interior, and various convenience features while featuring an efficient powertrain.
Mercedes-Benz Korea now has four trims, including the GLE 350 4MATIC, GLE 450 4MATIC, GLE 300 d 4MATIC, and Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+.
The GLE 350 4MATIC combines a 4-cylinder inline engine with a 9-speed transmission to deliver a maximum output of 258 horsepower and a maximum torque of 40.8 kgfm. In addition, a 48V mild hybrid system and an integrated starter generator (ISG) provide high additional output, allowing for quick and smooth engine starts.
The front end of the vehicle features a prominent front bumper, a radiator grille decorated with two horizontal louvres with chrome inserts, and air intakes adorned with horizontal chrome pins that catch the eye. The standard-equipped Multibeam LED includes four segmented lighting points and a unique signature daytime running light. The rear lamp's internal design also completes a more three-dimensional rear design. Inside, the center and side air vents finished in chrome convey a clean yet luxurious atmosphere.
The vehicle is equipped with advanced driving assistance systems that help ensure stable and comfortable driving on both on-road and off-road conditions, along with the latest convenience features preferred by domestic customers. The "Airmatic package" adjusts the damping of each wheel and the vehicle's height to match the driving environment, enhancing driving stability. It also includes a "transparent hood" that provides an overall view, including a virtual view of the vehicle's front lower area, helping drivers easily recognize obstacles while driving on rough roads.
The interior features energizing package, air balance package, and a second-generation MBUX infotainment system, providing a comfortable driving environment and enhanced digital experience simultaneously. Additionally, a Burmester® surround sound system equipped with Dolby Atmos® provides a new level of acoustic experience, while the panoramic sunroof offers excellent openness. Various convenience features, including KEYLESS-GO, ambient light, and a multifunction heated steering wheel, are standard.
The domestic selling price of the GLE 350 4MATIC is 116.6 million won.
