Kim Seung-youn, chairman of Hanwha Group, visited the Daejeon Hanwha Life Ballpark, the new stadium of the Hanwha-operated Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) league team, the Eagles.

On the 13th, according to Hanwha Group, Chairman Kim visited the stadium on the 11th to watch a game and celebrate the 40th anniversary of the team's founding and the opening of the new baseball park.

Chairman Kim told the Eagles players and team officials, “We have created 40 years of history with the world’s best fans,” and added, “Let’s pay back with the thrilling story of the Eagles as we hear the passionate cheers of the strongest Hanwha.”

Chairman Kim has been the owner of the team for 40 years since the founding of the Eagles. Since 1993, he has held 10% equity in the Eagles. On the day of his visit, the 11th, the Eagles achieved a victory over the Kiwoom Heroes, winning 12 to 2.
