'2025 Seoul Mobility Show' is attracting the attention of visitors by offering a test drive program where they can experience next-generation mobility technology firsthand. The test drive events are being held in various locations until April 13, when the mobility show takes place.
Hyundai Motor is operating the large SUV 'IONIQ 9' as a test drive vehicle. The test drive course, which lasts about 20 minutes, allows participants to experience the quiet driving feel and advanced assistance systems of the IONIQ 9 firsthand. Both advance reservations and on-site applications are available, and contracts can be signed at the exhibition after the test drive. A prize event is also prepared for on-site delivery customers, offering items such as the LG StanbyME Go and Gordon Miller car wash kits.
The BYD's compact SUV 'ATTO 3', which is drawing attention in the global electric vehicle market, is also available for test driving. The test drive route is designed to check key performance aspects such as interior space, driving stability, and energy efficiency, and a test drive experience of about 20 minutes is possible through on-site registration.
LOTTE Innovate operates an autonomous shuttle, being developed with the goal of popularizing autonomous driving technology, continuously along the passage between Halls 1 and 2 within the exhibition hall. This shuttle drives itself along a set route without any driver's intervention, allowing real-time experience of key technologies such as environmental recognition and automatic control of autonomous driving. Visitors can experience the entire operation process of the autonomous driving system by boarding the shuttle.
At this year's Seoul Mobility Show, it is not only cars that can be test-driven. The HD Hyundai booth, set up in Hall 4 of the first exhibition hall, presents an experiential exhibition themed around future construction technologies. Visitors can directly board two types of new excavators and inspect the interiors of the driver's seats, and in a separately created DIO space, a model representing a future underwater city construction site demonstrates miniaturized RC construction equipment operating autonomously. Additionally, visitors can observe the real-time working process of equipment being remotely controlled using a controller.
In addition, visitors can board and check the interior space and functions of vehicles displayed by domestic and foreign automobile brands such as Kia, Genesis, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, BMW, MINI, and INEOS Grenadier.
Meanwhile, this year's Seoul Mobility Show has greatly improved accessibility from Seoul and the metropolitan area due to the opening of the GTX-A line. As the construction of Hall 3 at KINTEX has limited parking usage at Hall 1, the organizing committee is operating nearby temporary parking lots and encouraging the use of public transportation such as the GTX.
