INNOCEAN announced on the 7th that its U.S. subsidiary Canvas Worldwide (hereinafter referred to as Canvas) has achieved the distinction of being named 2025 Media Agency of the Year.

Specializing in media agency services, Canvas strengthened its position as a leading corporation in the industry by being named in the prestigious global advertising and marketing publication 'Campaign US' as the Media Agency of the Year.

Campaign US announces award winners each year after a rigorous evaluation based on industry leadership, business performance, organizational culture, and more, targeting individuals and agencies. Notably, marketers from major brands and independent journalists are involved as judges, making the evaluation process known for its fairness yet high standards.

Canvas was selected as the Media Agency of the Year due to its data-driven strategies, innovative media solutions, and outstanding client performance. It received high praise for generating substantial and measurable business results through tailored strategies for clients.

In fact, Canvas has driven Kia's seven consecutive years of growth and record sales of six models in the U.S. during this period. Additionally, it contributed to Genesis entering the top 10 luxury brands just six years after its launch. Furthermore, Zillow, the largest online real estate platform in the U.S., recorded a 13% increase in revenue compared to the same period last year after just the first quarter of collaboration with Canvas.

Canvas is a joint venture established in 2015 by INNOCEAN and the largest independent media agency in the U.S., Horizon Media, to fully launch its global media business. In 2022, INNOCEAN acquired 100% of Canvas's equity, aiming to strengthen its independent media business capabilities in the U.S. market, considered the world's largest advertising battleground.

Currently, Canvas operates mainly in Los Angeles and New York, as well as in key cities such as Chicago, Dallas, Denver, and Atlanta, and is preparing to enter markets across North America including Canada, Mexico, and Brazil, as well as in India.

Since its establishment, Canvas has steadily built a variety of achievements. In 2020, it was selected as 'Adweek's Breakthrough Agency of the Year,' and in 2021, it was named 'Most Innovative Media Agency' by Campaign US. Additionally, for two consecutive years in 2024 and this year, it has been recognized by Ad Age as one of the 'Best Places to Work.'
