The next-generation new models unveiled by HD Hyundai at the '2025 Seoul Mobility Show' are two types of excavators: the 40-ton 'HYUNDAI' excavator from the institutional sector subsidiary HD Hyundai Construction Equipment and the 24-ton 'DEVELON' excavator from HD Hyundai Infracore. This is the first product developed by the HD Hyundai institutional sector to compete with global top-tier brands.
The next-generation new model is a smart excavator equipped with advanced technologies such as an electronic control hydraulic system (Full Electro-Hydraulic system, FEH) that enhances work efficiency with features like smart assist for increased productivity, smart safety to ensure safety in the workplace, and smart monitoring to maximize equipment availability. It boasts excellent performance in terms of production efficiency, equipment durability, and user convenience.
HD Hyundai has set up an exhibition hall covering 1,215 square meters (367 pyeong) at this mobility show, showcasing the innovative theme of infrastructure construction that enables the sustainable development of terrestrial mobility, 'No Infrastructure, No Mobility.'
What captures the attention of the visitors is the experience center.
The HD Hyundai exhibition is structured around three key phrases: construction innovation leadership (Forward Spirit), construction innovation technology (Forward Technology), and the future of construction innovation (Forward Future), featuring the display of new models along with opportunities for visitors to directly experience construction machinery's new technologies through 4D rides, RC construction machinery, and VR simulators.
In the HD Hyundai exhibition hall, the 40-ton excavator (HX400) from HD Hyundai Construction Equipment and the 24-ton excavator (DX240) from HD Hyundai Infracore are positioned on the left and right, allowing visitors to interact with a touch panel at the milestone table in front of the excavators to explore the key technologies of the next-generation new model.
Additionally, a 12-meter long main large LED screen located in the center of the exhibition hall, along with louver screens on the left and right, presents various video content about new product introductions, branding, and unmanned and autonomous terrestrial visions in a grand manner.
HD Hyundai plans to mark the start of realizing the terrestrial vision 'Xite Transformation' through the launch of the next-generation new model, indicating their commitment to implementing future technologies.
On the press day on the 3rd, Cho Young-cheol, president of HD Hyundai XiteSolution (a mid-holding company in the HD Hyundai construction equipment sector), noted, 'The next-generation new model is a flagship product completed by consolidating the technological capabilities and know-how of the HD Hyundai construction equipment sector, and we will grow the national construction machinery brands "HYUNDAI" and "DEVELON" into global top makers, led by this next-generation new model.'
