▲The representative model of 'performance luxury,' the new 'Mercedes-AMG GT'
Mercedes-Benz Korea will reveal the second-generation fully remodeled model of the high-performance two-door coupe 'Mercedes-AMG GT' for the first time in the country, sparking excitement among domestic high-performance car enthusiasts. The AMG GT features motorsport DNA and is characterized by displaying the essence of top-tier sports cars, with powerful performance and stylish design.
Among the AMG GT lineup, the first to be unveiled will be the 'GT 55 4MATIC+', featuring a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine (M177) adhering to Mercedes-AMG's 'One Man, One Engine' principle, combined with the AMG Speedshift TCT 9-speed transmission, delivering an impressive maximum output of 476 horsepower. Notably, the maximum torque matches the level of the GT R model, which showcased the strongest performance in the first generation GT lineup, at 700 Nm.
The 'GT 63 S E Performance' boasts a high-performance hybrid system that combines a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine with an electric motor, demonstrating the most powerful performance in the GT family. It also reaches 100 km/h from a standstill in just 2.8 seconds, exhibiting the fastest acceleration among production AMG vehicles. Furthermore, the vehicle is equipped with an AMG high-performance battery featuring a new cooling module based on technology from the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 racing car.
'GT 55 4MATIC+' will be released in the domestic market in May with a price of 206 million won (including value-added tax and reflecting the reduction of special consumption tax), while 'GT 63 S E Performance' is expected to launch in the second half of this year.
All second-generation new AMG GT models inherit the authenticity of AMG and are equipped with motorsport technology, delivering the utmost satisfaction for drivers desiring superior and dynamic driving. Additionally, they offer more space and functionality compared to the previous generation, including foldable 2+2 seating that provides convenience for everyday driving.

In addition to the new AMG GT, Mercedes-Benz Korea will also showcase a diverse lineup of various AMG models that combine style and driving performance.
First, buoyed by the popularity of the 'Mercedes-Benz CLE Coupe' launched in the domestic market last year, the high-performance model 'Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupe' will also be unveiled for the first time in the country. The 'AMG CLE Coupe' is a model that balances elegant design, embodying the tradition of Mercedes-Benz dream cars, with AMG's dynamic yet stable driving performance and the latest technology.
'AMG CLE Coupe' is expected to meet customer expectations for high performance as a key model representing AMG's new coupe lineup. 'AMG CLE Coupe' is scheduled to launch in the domestic market in the second half of this year.
'Mercedes-AMG E 53 Hybrid 4MATIC+ Edition 1' is a limited edition vehicle that offers unique charm through differentiated exterior and interior design elements and materials applied to AMG E-Class. The AMG Night Package, featuring AMG-specific front grille and other exterior elements finished in black, presents a striking impression and adds a sporty touch with the AMG Carbon Exterior Package, incorporating carbon fiber materials for the side mirrors and rear spoiler.
The vehicle's interior stands out visually with a contrast of black and yellow colors. Additionally, 'Edition 1' lettering is delicately added to the front headrests, thresholds, center console, floor mats, and wheels, emphasizing the identity exclusive to this limited model. Ten units of this model are expected to go on sale in the country this month, with a price of 160.8 million won (including value-added tax and reflecting the reduction of special consumption tax).
