BMW's institutional sector, BMW Motorrad, is officially launching the super sports motorcycle 'New S 1000 RR' in the domestic market, further enhancing its completeness. The BMW New S 1000 RR is the second partial modification model of the third generation launched in 2020, strengthening aerodynamic performance to improve driving stability and braking performance while significantly expanding advanced and standard features to enhance convenience.
BMW Motorrad unveiled the 'New S 1000 RR' at the '2025 Seoul Mobility Show,' held from the 4th to the 13th at Ilsan KINTEX.
The New S 1000 RR is designed based on a dynamic design inherited from racing motorcycle genes and incorporates a higher level of advanced aerodynamic technology to deliver more stable driving performance at high speeds.
The front panel is equipped with newly designed winglets, generating downforce that has increased by up to 35% compared to the previous model. This improves front wheel grip while effectively suppressing front wheel lift during high-speed and cornering, significantly enhancing driving stability and acceleration performance. Additionally, integrating brake cooling ducts into the front wheel cover optimizes airflow around the brake calipers. As a result, the brakes are effectively cooled, providing more stable braking power while improving protection against external impacts.
The New S 1000 RR is designed based on an aluminum flex frame, which improves both weight reduction and chassis balance, delivering precise handling and stable cornering performance through a chassis structure optimized for track riding.
The suspension features a 45mm diameter upright telescopic fork at the front and an aluminum swingarm with a Full-Floater Pro system at the rear, ensuring fast responsiveness, high grip, and excellent rigidity. Furthermore, electronic dynamic damping control automatically adjusts damping force according to the driving environment, providing a comfortable riding feel on regular roads and outstanding responsiveness on the circuit.
The New S 1000 RR is equipped with a powerful water/oil-cooled inline 4-cylinder 999cc engine. While meeting the stricter Euro 5+ environmental standards, it delivers the same maximum output of 210 horsepower and maximum torque of 113Nm (11.5kg·m) as before. It accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, and its top speed is 303 km/h.
The powerful force of the New S 1000 RR can be controlled quickly and delicately with the 'M Quick Action Throttle.' By reducing the rotation angle from the previous 72 degrees to 58 degrees, it minimizes wrist movement while allowing precise output control, reducing rider fatigue during circuit riding and maximizing control.
The New S 1000 RR comes standard with the riding mode pro, which was previously offered as an option. In addition to the existing four modes, it now includes three types of 'Race Pro' mode that allows for individual settings, enabling riders to finely adjust various elements such as traction control, front wheel lift prevention, and ABS sensitivity according to their riding environment and preferences.
Additionally, a 3-level adjustable engine brake and the 'Auto Hill Start Control Pro,' which automatically maintains braking after stopping on an incline, are newly standard to enhance riding convenience.
Moreover, the dynamic brake control (DBC) that comes standard helps provide stable braking by blocking unnecessary throttle inputs during emergency braking, along with the brake slide assist feature, allowing for more aggressive cornering during track riding.
Other standard features include shift assist pro for fast and convenient gear shifting, a 6.5-inch full-color TFT display that intuitively provides various riding information, and a tinted high windscreen that enhances visibility, improving convenience and satisfaction during everyday riding.
The New S 1000 RR being launched in the domestic market comes in two models: the 'Style Sports' in Bluestone metallic color and the 'M Package' with M Motorsport decals in light white color, with prices ranging from 32.3 million won to 33.1 million won (including VAT).

BMW Motorrad also exhibited the BMW M 1000 XR at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show.
The BMW M 1000 XR is the third M model introduced by BMW Motorrad and is a high-performance crossover motorcycle that combines excellent long-distance riding capability with the dynamic riding performance of a super sports motorcycle. It offers more than 200 horsepower, weighs only 223 kg, and provides a dynamic riding experience typical of M motorcycles both on regular roads and on the track.
The M 1000 XR is powered by a water/oil-cooled inline 4-cylinder engine tuned for long-distance riding performance. The engine delivers a maximum output of 201 horsepower and maximum torque of 113Nm (11.5kg·m) and rotates up to 14,600 rpm, employing BMW ShiftCam technology to adjust the intake valve opening depth and timing, providing high torque even in mid-low speed ranges.
The riding modes include rain, road, dynamic, race, and three individually adjustable race pro modes, and it features the BMW Shift Assistant Pro, which allows for gear shifting without clutch operation, ensuring quick shifting and comfortable long-distance riding.
The M brakes fitted on the M 1000 XR are developed using expertise accumulated in motorcycle racing, providing extreme braking performance, stability, and a high level of maneuverability. Additionally, the brake slide assist feature allows for more proactive cornering during track riding.
In addition, various specifications aimed at weight reduction, such as an M lightweight battery, titanium muffler with carbon end caps, and ultra-light forged aluminum wheels, are standard, providing more agile performance. An M winglet is applied to the front panel, contributing to increased downforce and improved ride quality, despite the high output and lightweight chassis, ensuring excellent high-speed stability.
