BMW Group Korea unveiled the 4th generation complete overhaul 'The New MINI JCW' and 'The New MINI Cooper Convertible' for the first time in the country.
The 4th generation complete overhaul of the New MINI JCW, which is being presented in the country for the first time in 10 years since 2015, is a model that perfectly harmonizes the thrilling driving experience unique to JCW with the distinctive style based on the New MINI Cooper 3-Door. It is expected to offer the dynamic driving pleasure unique to high-performance models through driving and chassis technology based on powerful performance and motorsport technology.
The New MINI JCW is equipped with a MINI Twin Power Turbo inline 4-cylinder gasoline engine that delivers a maximum output of 231 horsepower and a maximum torque of 38.8 kg·m, paired with a 7-speed Steptronic sports double-clutch automatic transmission. It accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds.
With JCW-specific suspension settings, it maximizes the fun driving element known as the go-kart feel and agile handling performance unique to MINI, while the Chili Red-colored JCW brake system provides precise and safe braking even in challenging driving situations.
The exterior design modernly reinterprets the brand identity of MINI, providing a simpler and more refined impression while revealing the intense presence unique to JCW. The exclusive hood stripes in red or black and the newly designed JCW logo, along with the Chili Red-colored roof and side mirror caps, create a striking contrast with the body color, adding to its distinctive character.
The front is completed with an octagonal grille finished in high-gloss black and large air intakes, creating a dynamic impression. The rear emphasizes the sporty character of the New MINI JCW through an aerodynamically designed rear spoiler, rear diffuser, and centrally placed exhaust, while the 18-inch JCW two-tone lightweight alloy wheels add a stylish touch.
The interior also creates a sporty atmosphere centered on the unique black and red colors of JCW. The JCW sports seats, JCW steering wheel featuring a dedicated fabric strap, and the dashboard knit pattern in black and red intuitively showcase MINI JCW's motorsport heritage.
The 240mm diameter round OLED display positioned at the center of the dashboard integrates support for the instrument cluster, navigation, interior climate control, and in-car infotainment functions. It is equipped with MINI's latest operating system, MINI Operating System 9, allowing users to experience a Korea-specific MINI navigation system based on T-map along with innovative digital features.
The New MINI JCW is expected to be officially launched in the domestic market in the second quarter of this year.

The New MINI Cooper Convertible is a model that completes the New MINI family lineup, perfectly embodying the openness of the MINI brand with its new convertible design.
The soft top operates quietly and can be opened or closed while driving at speeds up to 30 km/h. It fully opens in 18 seconds at the push of a button and takes 15 seconds to close. The sunroof can be opened up to 40 cm regardless of driving speed, allowing drivers to enjoy open air at any time.
The soft top folds back to save space behind the second row of seats, allowing for ample trunk space even when fully opened. The trunk capacity is 160 liters with the soft top down and increases to 215 liters when the soft top is closed.
The front of the New MINI Cooper Convertible reflects the unique character of the New MINI Cooper, featuring a wide octagonal air intake surrounded by vibrant silver or high-gloss jet black.
On the sides, a sporty style is achieved through the contrast of short overhangs and a long wheelbase, while the simplified design emphasizes the elegant contours of the body. The rear features vertically elongated LED rear lights, while the black handle strip bearing the model name separates the rear vertically, emphasizing ample width.
The interior maximizes a minimalist feel. Reflecting the heritage of the classic Mini, the MINI toggle bar retains only the essential buttons, allowing intuitive operation of the core functions needed for driving. A 240mm diameter round OLED display is placed at the center of the dashboard, creating a futuristic atmosphere while integrating various functions such as the instrument cluster, navigation, interior climate control, and in-car infotainment.
The New MINI Cooper Convertible offers two powertrains: C and S. The New MINI Cooper C Convertible delivers a maximum output of 163 horsepower and a maximum torque of 25.5 kg·m, reaching from standstill to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds. The New MINI Cooper S Convertible produces a maximum output of 204 horsepower and a maximum torque of 30.6 kg·m, accelerating from standstill to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds, with a top speed of 237 km/h.

The New All-Electric MINI JCW is the first all-electric high-performance model from the JCW brand, enhancing dynamics with the instant responsiveness of the electric motor and the motorsport know-how of JCW, all while featuring the sporty design unique to JCW.
The New All-Electric MINI JCW features the latest 5.5 generation high-voltage system from the BMW Group that provides a maximum output of 258 horsepower and a maximum torque of 35.7 kg·m, offering instantaneous acceleration performance. In particular, pulling the paddle switch on the steering wheel to activate boost mode provides an additional 27 horsepower for 10 seconds, allowing occupants to experience even stronger acceleration capabilities, achieving 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.
It comes equipped with a high-voltage battery with a gross capacity of 54.2 kWh, supporting fast charging of up to 95 kW, allowing the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes. Additionally, the range on a single charge is 371 km based on WLTP standards and 291 km based on domestic standards.
The New All-Electric MINI JCW is enhanced with distinctive design elements of JCW on both the interior and exterior, amplifying its dynamic sensibility. The front features a unique hood stripe pattern and a new JCW logo, with air curtains on both sides of the front bumper and the calipers of the JCW sports brakes highlighted in red, showcasing a strong presence.
The interior is designed to evoke a sporty atmosphere with a JCW steering wheel featuring a dedicated fabric strap, red-patterned designs on the dashboard, and JCW sports seats.
Additionally, a Korea-specific MINI navigation system based on T-map is integrated, providing real-time traffic and map information, as well as optimal route guidance considering charging situations, allowing for worry-free enjoyment of long journeys. Furthermore, it supports third-party apps such as YouTube and Melon, along with air console games, offering a whole new digital experience.

The New All-Electric MINI Aceman is the first MINI model to be presented exclusively as an all-electric model, positioned as a compact SUV between the New MINI Cooper and the New MINI Countryman. It is based on a dedicated electric vehicle platform and utilizes BMW Group's 5.5 generation high-voltage system.
The New All-Electric MINI Aceman maintains the distinct charm of MINI while featuring a fresh design and ample space. With a body length of 4,085 mm and height of 1,515 mm, it exhibits a lower and longer ratio compared to typical SUVs, achieving both a nimble silhouette and SUV-level space utilization.
The front presents a novel impression with a polygonal headlight not seen before and an octagonal grille that omits horizontal lines at the bottom, while the side and rear emphasize personality with dynamic wheel arch designs and Aceman's unique bumpers at both ends. The headlights and rear lights support signature LED lighting functions that can be selected in three different modes, allowing drivers to express their preferences in various ways.
The interior maximizes a minimalistic feel, with a dashboard made from 100% recycled polyester fabric featuring a unique Aceman pattern, while unique design door handles create an original atmosphere. Additionally, a 3-spoke sports steering wheel with a fabric strap and an iconic MINI toggle bar reflecting the heritage of the classic Mini complete the simple charm.
The powertrains are offered in two variants: E and SE. The New All-Electric MINI Aceman E Classic trim is equipped with an electric motor delivering a maximum output of 184 horsepower and a maximum torque of 29.6 kg·m. The New All-Electric MINI Aceman SE Favorite trim features an electric motor producing a maximum output of 218 horsepower and a maximum torque of 33.7 kg·m, achieving 0-100 km/h in just 7.1 seconds.
Both models are equipped with a high-voltage battery with a gross capacity of 54.2 kWh, and the range on a single charge is also the same at 405 km based on WLTP standards and 312 km based on domestic standards.

The New All-Electric MINI Countryman is the first pure electric family car from MINI. While fully retaining the delightful character unique to MINI, it is reborn with an all-electric powertrain, offering ample space and excellent usability.
The exterior and interior emphasize a simpler and more modern sensibility while maintaining the brand's unique design identity. Clean surface treatments, an octagonal grille, the Countryman's distinctive angular headlights, larger wheel arches, a high hood, and a front design closer to vertical complete the premium SUV presence. External elements such as the roof, side mirror caps, and front grille are finished in a new vibrant silver color, further enhancing the sophisticated feel.
The spacious and comfortable interior space provides improved convenience and practicality for occupants. Compared to the previous generation internal combustion engine model, the shoulder and elbow space in the front seats have been increased by about 3 cm, offering a more relaxed sitting experience, while a center console box is integrated beneath the floating armrest to enhance space utilization. The expanded trunk space ranges from a basic 460 liters to a maximum of 1,450 liters, allowing for flexibility to adapt to various lifestyles.
The New All-Electric MINI Countryman comes in two powertrain configurations: E and SE ALL4. The New All-Electric MINI Countryman E is powered by an electric motor with a maximum output of 204 horsepower and a maximum torque of 25.5 kg·m mounted on the front axle. The New All-Electric MINI Countryman SE ALL4 is an all-wheel-drive model equipped with an electric motor on both the front and rear axles, delivering a combined maximum output of 313 horsepower and a combined maximum torque of 50.4 kg·m, reaching 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds from a standstill.
All models come equipped with a high-voltage battery with a gross capacity of 66.5 kWh. The single-charge range for the New All-Electric MINI Countryman E is 462 km based on WLTP standards and 349 km based on domestic standards, while the New All-Electric MINI Countryman SE ALL4 offers a range of 432 km based on WLTP standards and 326 km based on domestic standards.
