HS Hyosung Advanced Materials announced on the 1st that it will donate 100 million won to help recover from the recent large-scale wildfire damage.
The donation will be used for the support of residents in the affected areas and relief efforts through the Korean Red Cross.
Choi Hyun-sang, vice chairman of HS HYOSUNG, said, "We are delivering this donation with deep sympathy for those affected by the wildfire," and noted, "We will continue to fulfill our responsibilities as corporations and engage in value management together with the community."
HS Hyosung Advanced Materials has taken the lead in relief efforts whenever national disaster situations occurred, such as during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, heavy rain and coastal wildfires in 2022, and heavy rain and Gangneung wildfires in 2023. The company has been recognized as a community-contributing corporation for six consecutive years.
