Hanjin Group announced on the 28th that it has donated 500 million won to support the recovery from forest fire damage and aid for disaster victims in the Yeongnam area.
The donation is expected to be used for the recovery of damage and support for disaster victims in the recently designated special disaster areas: Sangcheon-gun and Hadong-gun in South Gyeongsang Province, Uiseong-gun in North Gyeongsang Province, and Ulju-gun in Ulsan. It will be delivered through the Community Chest of Korea.
Hanjin Group said, “We deeply sympathize with the victims who lost their homes due to the sudden forest fire and hope for a prompt extinguishing of the fire so that the affected local residents can regain hope and return to their peaceful daily lives.”
