Vice Minister Kim inspected the buildings and nearby business sites of small businesses and small merchants affected by the wildfire and checked the damage situation. He also met with merchants and corporate representatives who lost their livelihoods to offer comfort and noted that support would be provided promptly.

Vice Minister Kim said, “We will quickly establish support measures so that those who lost their livelihoods due to the wildfire can rise again,” and noted, “We will concentrate all policy capabilities to ensure that new sprouts of hope can emerge before the ashes of the wildfire have cooled.”

The Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups plans to assess the damage situation of small businesses, small merchants, and traditional markets caused by the wildfire and establish and implement recovery plans in conjunction with local governments and related organizations such as the Small and Medium Business Administration and the Small Business Market Promotion Agency.
