On the 26th, SK Group announced it will provide a donation of 2 billion won and relief supplies to residents in areas such as Gyeongnam, Gyeongbuk, and Ulsan that are suffering significant damage from large wildfires through the Community Chest of Korea and the National Disaster Relief Association. The funds will be used for recovery efforts in the affected areas and to support residents.

SK affiliates have also joined the relief efforts. SK hynix has been providing 800 sets of relief tents and ground mats and 1,500 relief kits to disaster victims in Hadong, Gyeongnam, and Yeongdong, Chungbuk, since the 23rd through its High Safety initiative. The High Safety initiative was launched by SK hynix with an annual grant of 600 million won aimed at supporting disaster victims.
SK Telecom, SK Broadband, SK ONS, Home & Service, and other telecommunications affiliates have been operating support booths at temporary housing facilities for disaster victims established at Danseong Middle School in Sancheong, Gyeongnam, and Uiseong Gymnasium in Gyeongbuk since the 22nd. They are providing internet TV (IPTV) and Wi-Fi services as well as support items such as mobile phone chargers, power banks, and wet wipes.
A representative of SK Group said, "We hope the wildfires are quickly extinguished to prevent further damage, and we will support disaster victims so they can return to their daily lives as soon as possible," adding, "SK Group plans to actively participate in various recovery and support activities beyond just donating funds."
