D.CAMP (Bank Foundation for Young Entrepreneurs) has invested a total of 811.8 billion won in promising startups since its establishment in 2012 until last year.
D.CAMP noted on the 26th that it has published the '2024 Annual Report' and the '2024 Sustainability Management Activity Report.'
According to the report, D.CAMP has discovered over 4,500 promising startups as of last year. It has provided office space support to 781 startups and customized mentoring to 7,734 startups.
In addition, it invested a total of 811.8 billion won in promising startups as of last year, including a direct investment of 30.8 billion won and fund contributions of 781 billion won. The value of corporations in which D.CAMP directly invested is assessed to be 5.24 trillion won as of last year. The fund investment corporations Abley Corporation and Rebellion grew into unicorn corporations (unlisted companies valued at over $1 billion) last year. Five companies, including INNOSPACE, 3billion, LiDAR, and SOSLAB, have succeeded in going public.
In this report, D.CAMP introduced various activities to help startups actively create achievements and shared practice cases of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) for establishing a sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Ok Chang-seok, head of D.CAMP's planning office, said, "For startups to achieve sustainable growth, long-term partnerships are important rather than short-term support," and added, "We will continue to grow alongside startups in various aspects such as investment, mentoring, office space, and global networks to create a sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem."
