On the 25th, Toyota Korea announced that it will donate 100 million won to help residents and the community affected by the recent large forest fire in the Gyeongsang-do region.
This donation will be delivered through the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association and will be used for urgent relief activities and the provision of daily necessities for the restoration of the fire damage sites in Sangcheon, Gyeongsangnam-do, and Uiseong, Gyeongsangbuk-do.
Manabu Konyama, president of Toyota Korea, said, "I sincerely thank all those who are working hard on fire suppression at the fire site" and added, "I extend my deepest condolences to the residents of Gyeongsang-do, who have suffered great damage from this unforeseen disaster. Although it is a small gesture, I hope it can help the affected area recover to its normal state as soon as possible."
Meanwhile, Toyota Korea has been continuing its donations and support in line with various social issues to become a trusted corporate citizen that grows together with the community.
