Renault Korea changed its name from Renault Korea Motors last April and also changed its official emblem from the shape of a typhoon to a diamond-shaped 'Lozange.' Along with this, it has implemented the 'Electro Pop' strategy to establish differentiated brand value.

The Electro Pop brand strategy focuses on three technologies: ▲ Renault's E-Tech electrification technology that encompasses hybrid and pure electric vehicle technology based on the expertise of motorsports F1; ▲ connectivity technology that aids in enhancing the driving experience centered around advanced infotainment 'OpenR Link'; and ▲ the human-first program, which prioritizes user safety.

The Grand Koleos, which was the first model launched after the brand transformation, is considered a representative example demonstrating the success of this strategy. After being unveiled globally for the first time at the '2024 Busan Mobility Show' last year, Grand Koleos surpassed 10,000 cumulative sales in the shortest period of any new model in the brand's history and has sold over 24,000 units as of January this year.

The E-Tech hybrid of the Grand Koleos boasts a powerful dual-motor system with a combined output of 245 horsepower. The certified fuel economy is 15.7 km per liter.

The gasoline model Grand Koleos 2.0 Turbo delivers a maximum output of 211 horsepower and maximum torque of 33.2 kg·m, showcasing impressive driving performance, with a certified fuel economy of 11.1 km per liter, which is among the best in its class.

The Grand Koleos features the longest wheelbase in its class at 2,820 mm, providing ample rear seat space. The body incorporates ultra-high strength 'Hot Press Forming (HPF)' components in 18% of its construction to enhance safety, and it is equipped with up to 31 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and convenience features.

Additionally, it has applied the 'OpenR' panoramic screen extending to the passenger seat for the first time in a domestic model, significantly enhancing the in-car entertainment experience. Users can access various content through the Naver Whale browser, including YouTube and cinema OTT. From this year onwards, customers purchasing the vehicle will receive unlimited 5G data free for five years.
