DSK is the largest drone exhibition in Asia, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Ministry of National Defense, Korean Aerospace Administration, and Busan Metropolitan City. This year marks the 10th anniversary, featuring participation from 306 companies from 15 countries and a record 1,130 booths.
Korean Air will operate the largest booth among participating companies and institutions at DSK. The company will showcase its currently produced drones, as well as next-generation drones, urban air mobility (UAM) flight control, and traffic management systems.
Korean Air is currently producing mid-altitude drones for air force modernization. The company possesses the latest drone technologies, including small attack drones, unmanned aerial vehicle formations integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) technology, and small cooperative unmanned combat aircraft.
Korean Air is accelerating the development of its core traffic management system in preparation for the commercialization of UAM. The company has independently developed the UAM traffic management and flight control system, ACROSS (Air Control And Routing Orchestrated Skyway System), which can integrate the control of low-altitude aircraft such as drones and helicopters, and completed trademark registration with the Korean Intellectual Property Office last year.
Korean Air is the only airline engaged in aircraft manufacturing and maintenance, as well as drone development and performance improvement projects. The airline is endeavoring to leap into a world-class aerospace comprehensive company by continuing challenges in various fields. Korean Air aims to solidify its foundation for drones and future growth, including unmanned aerial vehicles, stealth technology, and space launch vehicles.
