First, Korean Air will completely renovate the existing lounge at Incheon Airport's Terminal 2 and establish a new lounge in the airport expansion area.

The new lounge is the Prestige Garden Lounge, which will be created in the East and West wing area newly developed as part of the Phase 4 expansion project at Incheon Airport.

The openings will begin in August and proceed sequentially, while the existing Prestige East Lounge and the Myler Club Lounge will be expanded and reconfigured at their current locations.

Once the lounge expansions and renovations are completed, the total number of Korean Air lounges operating at Incheon International Airport will increase to six. The area will be approximately 2.5 times larger, and the number of seats will nearly double.

The expansion and renovation of Korean Air's lounges are measures taken in response to the widening passenger flow as the Phase 4 expansion project at Incheon Airport comes to completion, and in anticipation of Asiana Airlines transferring to Terminal 2 ahead of its merger with Korean Air.

The lounge food and beverage service will also be significantly improved. There are plans to operate a live kitchen offering fresh and diverse food. Cocktails, wines, and beverages will also be prepared and served on-site.

Lounges located in major overseas hub airports will also be updated. The lounges at Los Angeles International Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport in the U.S. are expected to undergo significant changes, reflecting the city's themes and creating a luxurious atmosphere.

Additionally, Premium Economy seats will be introduced to upgrade the economy class. The first aircraft to be remodeled will be 11 Boeing 777-300ERs, which will remove first class and install Premium Economy seats.

These aircraft will be deployed on routes starting in the second half of this year and will operate with Prestige, Premium Economy, and Economy classes. The company plans to progressively expand aircraft modifications and route deployments by next year.
