Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) said on the 14th that it has taken steps to support residents affected by the fighter jet accident in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province, by providing emergency relief supplies.
KHNP delivered relief supplies worth 17 million won, consisting of groceries and daily necessities, to Pocheon City to minimize the inconvenience for local residents and assist in rapid recovery. Starting with this support, additional assistance measures are being reviewed, and various cooperation plans for damage recovery are being sought.

KHNP plans to construct a 700 megawatt Pocheon pumped storage power plant in the area of 이동면, Pocheon City, in accordance with the government's electricity supply plan, and aims to obtain approval for the implementation plan by August.
Kim Pan-ho, head of KHNP's Pocheon Pumped Storage Construction Site, noted, “We prepared supplies that can practically help the residents who are struggling due to the sudden accident, and we will continue to pay attention to ensure that recovery and support for damage proceeds smoothly.”
