KG Mobility announced on the 11th that it launched the 'Taurus Hybrid,' the first hybrid model developed since its founding.
The price of the Taurus Hybrid, a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), is set at 31.4 million won for the ▲T5 and 36.35 million won for the ▲T7, based on the application criteria for the individual consumption tax (3.5%) and eco-friendly vehicle tax benefits.
The Taurus Hybrid's combined fuel efficiency is 15.7 km per liter, a 41% improvement compared to the Taurus gasoline model. It is equipped with a dedicated transmission called e-DHT (efficiency-Dual motor Hybrid Transmission) for driving in electric vehicle mode, hybrid vehicle mode, and engine drive mode, depending on the situation.
The Taurus Hybrid is equipped with noise-absorbing 20-inch tires and uses sound-absorbing materials in the engine compartment, engine cover, and wheelhouses to enhance quietness.
This car features a 12.3-inch digital cluster with the next-generation infotainment platform 'Athena 2.0.' Additionally, convenience features have been improved, including wireless software updates (OTA), navigation map cluster dual map expansion functionality, and added controls for the second-row heated seats.
KG Mobility noted that it will hold a residual value guarantee and smart installment promotion for customers who purchase the Taurus Hybrid.
After purchasing the Taurus Hybrid and driving it for 45,000 km over three years, if the buyer sells the vehicle as a used car and repurchases a car from KG Mobility, up to 64% of the vehicle price will be guaranteed. A smart installment program with a 30% down payment over 60 months at an interest rate of 4.5% will also be offered.
