BMW Motorrad, the institutional sector of BMW's motorcycle division, held the '2025 BMW Motorrad Season Opening' event grandly on the 8th at Incheon's Artepine and the Araincheon Passenger Terminal area.
This season opening event, which announced the start of the riding season, was attended by approximately 800 riders nationwide, together spreading a correct riding culture for enjoyable and safe driving throughout the year. This year's event featured various latest BMW Motorrad models and operated diverse experience programs, including test rides.
First, a display space themed 'BMW Motorrad Zone' was established with four concepts: 'Spirit of GS', 'F Zone', 'SOULFUEL', and 'ENTRY', providing a wealth of visual experiences. Various models such as the touring enduro motorcycle 'R 1300 GS Adventure', the mid-sized lineup 'F Series', the heritage lineup 'R 12 Series', and the high-performance crossover 'M 1000 XR' were displayed for an engaging experience.
A test ride program was also operated, allowing participants to directly experience the excellent performance and outstanding riding feel of BMW Motorrad motorcycles. Various models, including the top-tier GS model 'R 1300 GS', 'R 1300 GS Adventure', the GS lineup of the F Series, the mid-sized roadster 'F 900 R', and the high-speed tourer 'F 900 XR', were available for an immersive experience.
During the event, following the season opening ceremony wishing for safe riding, a 'paper airplane ceremony' was also held. About 800 participants folded paper airplanes with their hopes and expectations for the new season and simultaneously flew them, creating a magnificent scene. Additionally, through the 'Message Wall' installed at the venue, messages wishing for each other's safety and supporting enjoyable riding lives were delivered.
In addition, a support booth for motorcycle inspections and minor repairs, along with a special discount sale of lifestyle products, was operational, providing convenience and benefits to the participants, and a lucky draw was held to gift abundant prizes.
BMW Motorrad is expected to continuously showcase various new models, including the 'R 12 S', 'S 1000 RR', and 'M 1000 RR', this year.
