INNOCEAN, a comprehensive advertising agency affiliated with Hyundai Motor Company, announced on the 5th that its CEO, Lee Yong-woo, and other top executives recently held a meeting with Amy Reinhard, the Chief Advertising Officer of Netflix, who visited Korea, to strengthen their collaborative relationship.
At this meeting, the two companies reportedly formed a consensus on strengthening synergies through the establishment of a future strategic cooperative relationship, including marketing collaboration.
INNOCEAN held a briefing for Reinhard, the Chief Advertising Officer, and leaders from Netflix’s institutional sector who visited its headquarters in Seoul, detailing key campaigns unique to INNOCEAN, artificial intelligence (AI) technology, outdoor advertising media channels in major business districts of Seoul such as The Monte Gangnam-Shinsegae Square, and exhibition planning projects.
Since last year, INNOCEAN has been actively collaborating with Netflix. It signed a sponsorship agreement for the domestic first single title of 'Squid Game' Season 2 to commemorate the launch of the Kia Sportage, a sports utility vehicle (SUV), and also produced a three-part tailored advertisement content for the New Sportage.
Netflix operates a subscription plan that offers content for 5,500 won a month on the condition that users watch ads.
Lee Yong-woo, CEO of INNOCEAN, emphasized, "We will continue to strengthen our partnership with Netflix to create successful cases that lead new changes in the global advertising market."
