Genesis has unveiled its top flagship model in the Black lineup, the 'G90 Long Wheelbase Black,' and announced that sales will begin on the 5th. The long wheelbase (LWB) refers to models with extended distances between the front and rear axles, and this G90 long wheelbase model is 190 mm longer than previous models, increasing rear seat space.
According to Genesis, the G90 Long Wheelbase Black features a distinctive black color applied to both the interior and exterior of the vehicle. A Genesis official noted that "the black color enhances the luxury of the G90." The Genesis Black models include the G90 Black, G80 Black, GV80 Black, and GV80 Coupe Black, with the option to choose black even for the top-tier model.
Genesis has applied a black color to key exterior components of the G90 Long Wheelbase, including ▲ the front radiator grille and emblem ▲ front bumper intake molding ▲ lower rear bumper molding ▲ DLO (Day Light Opening) molding ▲ headlamp inner side bezel. Additionally, the main buttons, steering wheel, and paddle shifters in the interior space have all been colored black. Exclusive seats for the G90 Long Wheelbase Black have also been introduced.
The G90 Long Wheelbase Black operates with a single powertrain and drive type of a gasoline 3.5 turbo 48-volt electric supercharger all-wheel drive. Furthermore, Genesis also began sales of the model year change variants of the G90, the '2025 G90' and '2025 G90 Black' on the same day.
