LIG Nex1 announced on the 5th that it participated in the multinational cyber defense exercise 'Defence Cyber Marvel 4 (DCM4)' held at the Sonokam Hotel in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province, last month.
DCM is an exercise hosted by the British Army Cyber Association since 2022 and has been elevated to an international exercise in 2023. This year, it was co-hosted by the National Intelligence Service of Korea.
LIG Nex1 participated for the first time this year. LIG Nex1 joined as part of the Industry team and gained practical experience in an international cyber warfare exercise that included artificial intelligence (AI), quantum computing, and satellite hacking. LIG Nex1 CEO Shin Ik-hyun, Colin Crooks, the British Ambassador to South Korea, and Tom Copinger-Symes, the Deputy Commander of the British Strategic Command (Major General), attended the exercise.
LIG Nex1 noted, "We will be able to significantly enhance our development capabilities related to cyber warfare through the experience gained in this international cyber warfare exercise encompassing advanced technologies."
