This year marks the 30th anniversary of CJ ENM's representative music channel Mnet, which announced on the 4th that it has undergone a brand overhaul along with a new slogan to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
Launched in 1995 as a specialized music channel, Mnet has encapsulated its journey through music and expressed its ambition to connect through music with the slogan "K-POP GENERATION Mnet."
Mnet is expected to unveil its 30th anniversary campaign starting with a newly applied brand overhaul from March. The "Mnet 30th Anniversary Chart Show," which compiles iconic moments from representative programs that have grown alongside K-pop history such as the "MAMA AWARDS," "Superstar K," "Show Me the Money," and "Street Woman Fighter," will premiere on the 6th.
"M Countdown" will also feature a special program reviewing the new cultural phenomena created by Mnet throughout its 30-year history.
Shinhyung Kwan, head of the music content business division at CJ ENM, noted, "Mnet will strive to provide enjoyment through unique content in the future."
