Doosan Yeongang Foundation announced on the 25th that it will support a total of 3 billion won in scholarships this year.
The Doosan Yeongang Foundation held its first scholarship certificate awarding ceremony of the year at the El Tower in Yangjae, Seocho-gu, Seoul, on the previous day (24th) and made this announcement.
At the awarding ceremony the previous day, scholarships totaling 1.4 billion won were awarded to 177 university students selected based on academic performance and school life.
The foundation plans to carry out various scholarship programs such as 'Technical Talent High School Scholarship' and 'Multicultural Family Scholarship' this year for elementary, middle, high school, and university students.
Park Yong-hyun, chairman of the Doosan Yeongang Foundation, said, "I hope the students selected as scholarship recipients will grow into talents who will lead the future."
Since its establishment in 1978, the Doosan Yeongang Foundation has supported scholarships for 19,088 students, including elementary, middle, high school, and university students who have achieved excellent academic results, even in difficult circumstances.
