Hyosung Heavy Industries showcased various technologies including 'SF6 (sulfur hexafluoride gas) Free GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear)', which reduces greenhouse gas emissions while enhancing high-performance insulation technology; mobile substations that facilitate emergency responses with quick installation and relocation; STATCOM (Static Synchronous Compensator), which helps ensure stable power supply for renewable energy generation and data centers; and HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current), a core technology for future power grids that enables efficient long-distance high-capacity power transmission.

Hyosung Heavy Industries established a branch in New Delhi in 2007 and completed a GIS production factory in Pune, central-west India, in 2015. Last year, the revenue of its Indian corporation more than doubled compared to the same period the previous year. Hyosung Heavy Industries holds over 50% of the Indian GIS market share, with more than 95% in the ultra-high voltage GIS sector of 800 kV and above.
