Porsche Korea (CEO Matthias Buse) noted that on the 20th, at the '2025 Korea Car of the Year (K-COTY)' awards ceremony organized by the Korea Automobile Journalist Association (KA-JA), the all-electric sports car 'Taycan Turbo S' won in the '2025 Performance' institutional sector.
The all-electric car 'Taycan Turbo S', which has become more powerful in every aspect compared to the transfer model after extensive upgrades, showcased its strong driving performance, long range, and fast charging speed during the 2025 Car of the Year evaluation.
With this award, the Porsche Taycan has proven its enhanced product power and E-performance through the facelift model, following its wins in the '2021 Design' and 'Performance' institutional sectors.
The Taycan Turbo S takes 2.4 seconds to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h, and with launch control, it delivers an additional output of 140 kW, bringing the total system output to 952 horsepower. It can charge at a maximum of 320 kW at 800-volt DC charging stations. Although the battery capacity has increased, it can be charged in 18 minutes at a battery temperature of 15 degrees Celsius.
The new Porsche Active Ride suspension is available as an option and has dramatically widened the spectrum between driving dynamics and convenience. Additionally, it offers expanded standard specifications, a full digital display, extensive personalization options, and an intuitive operating method with the latest generation Porsche Driver Experience.

Porsche Korea previously achieved the triple crown by sweeping all three major '2021 Car of the Year' awards with the 'Taycan 4S'.
